*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 07/07/2018
A 2-hour course held at Writers & Books.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

If you have a sharp eye for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling (without spellcheck!), and usage as you read newspapers, magazines, work reports, or books, and ever wondered if you could put that talent to work for you, here’s your chance to find out what it takes to be a professional editor or proofreader. Students will learn about essential characteristics and skills, processes, tools, style manuals, pitfalls, and resources for further training. Students will gain an understanding of editing and proofreading that should help them find work as editors or proofreaders.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
