Canandaigua Farmer's Market

The Canandaigua Farmers Market is an association of farmers and small scale food processors consisting of approximately 30 vendors who live within a limited radius of Canandaigua, NY. Agricultural vendors produce a wide variety of quality vegetables, fruits, flowers, meats, and eggs. Small scale food processors offer a variety of freshly baked goods, sauces, pickles, jams, maple products and honey. Vendors are required by association bylaws to sell only what they produce. The market is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Central NY and is within and hour's drive of most wineries and major attractions in the region. Emphasizing the culinary tourism aspects of the area, it is just up the street from the world class NYS Wine & Culinary Center, which uses many products from market vendors in its culinary activities. The market was founded in 2001 and has retained most of its founding members. Currently the market is funded by its vendors, Ontario County Farm Bureau and various fund raising activities. The City of Canandaigua hosts the market site and provides utilities and other support services. The market is situated in the parking lot between Lafayette Ave. and Main St. Market hours are 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturdays from the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in October.
