Flavors of Germany

German foods are as varied as the landscapes and the people. Traditional German cuisine is rich,but tasty and delicious. After all, fat in food is the medium to carry flavour. Join the centers culinary instructor in our Hands on Kitchen to prepare some well loved regional dishes. We can assure you of this- the food may be different, but you wont leave hungry!

Hands on kitchen
In this class, you will work in pairs of two to prepare one of the following dishes and share family-style. You may choose which dish you would like to prepare; the recipes are on a first come, first serve basis.
Menu:
- Pork schnitzel,spaetzle, red cabbage
- Rouladen,German potato salad
- Salmonwith leek cream sauce,parsnip pancakes
- Currywurst with frites, cucumber/carrot salad
** Patrons must be 21 years of age to consume alcohol. **
