Do you ever wonder how drones can be used in civilian life? Or you want pointers on starting a local drone club? This is the program for you! This class will discuss how remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), also known as drones, work, applications, and some of the current legislation on their use for fun and business. A couple of RPAS will be demonstrated including a hands on component at the end of the presentation.
Edward Levine teaches RPAS in the Syracuse City School District at PSLA High School. Ed has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Technology Education and holds an FAA Remote Pilot License.
