A Buffalo woman recently defrauded non-profits and businesses in Erie County by falsely representing herself as an experienced grant writer with connections to New York State funding. As a result of an investigation by the Office of the NYS Attorney General, the woman pleaded guilty to multiple felonies and is awaiting sentencing to a state correctional facility.

Topics will include:

  • How to hire a grant writer
  • New York State Grants Gateway
  • Update on the Buffalo case
