Pollinator Plant Workshop

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 05/31/2018
Join us for our Pollinator Plant Workshop to learn about how local New York pollinator plants can be beneficial to your yard or vegetable garden as well as how to plant and maintain these plants for years to come.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

We will discuss why pollinator plants and insect pollinators are important to local ecology, and where you can find these plants in our community.

Guests will have the opportunity to plant some native NY seeds in a biodegradable container to take home.

This workshop is open to all ages but will be most beneficial for novice adult gardeners.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
