June 23 Rain Barrel Workshop

Come and build a rain barrel for your home! Rain barrels help reduce stormwater runoff to storm drains by collecting and storing rainwater runoff from rooftops. Connect your rain barrel to a gutter downspout on your house, collect rainwater, and conserve tap water by using the rainwater on your gardens and landscaping. You will make and take home your own 55 gallon rain barrel. All tools and materials will be supplied at the workshop. Workshop fee is $40.00/rain barrel. Checks can be made payable to the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
Registration is required. Please call by June 21.
