Bug Beauty Contest

The Genesee Country Village and Museum Nature Center building and trails will be open on Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, for a suggested donation of $5. Enjoy an independent hike, or join one of our naturalists for a guided nature experience.

Do you like bugs? Discover what insects are living in the meadow while looking for your entrance into the bug beauty contest. Nets and jars will be provided for safe capture and release. At 2:15 a vote will be held and awards will be given to the “most beautiful,” “oddest,” and “biggest” bug. Prizes to all who participate.
Meet at the Nature Center at 1:30 p.m.
