Saturday, October 4: Set your sights on the stars this Saturday night during International Observe the Moon Night, as the RMSC STEM Ambassadors host star- and moon-gazing events across the Rochester area! Taking place after dusk at more than a dozen community locations, these free gatherings bring telescopes, astronomy know-how, and hands-on fun directly into neighborhoods. From the YMCA in Pittsford to libraries in Webster and Brockport, to the Ibero American Action League in Rochester, to local parks and community centers, each event offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment where people of all ages can explore the wonders of the night sky. It's a stellar way to connect with science, neighbors, and the cosmos—don’t forget to look up!
