Eastman Trombone Choir 80th Anniversary Concert

Featuring guest soloist Michael Davis, trombone and Donald Hunsberger, conductor
Repertoire includes pieces by three trombone alums, Ethan Cypress, David Wilborn and Michael Davis. Also, two arrangements done by our alums, the Camille Saint-Saens "Adagio" from Symphony No. 3, arranged by Ken Murley and the Bach Passacaglia in C minor, arranged by Donald Hunsberger.

The Eastman Centennial celebration began in Fall 2021 and will continue throughout 2022. Highlights include premieres of more than 50 new compositions and centennial fanfares; acclaimed guest artists performing with Eastman’s ensembles; national academic and music conferences; nationwide alumni events; a TV documentary produced in partnership with WXXI; “Opening of the Doors,” a community-driven celebration scheduled for March 3-6, 2022; the online alumni event “100 concerts to celebrate 100 years”; and a Meliora Weekend celebration in Fall 2022.
