Free Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Concert in Geneseo

Don’t miss this free, outdoor concert by our community’s superb symphony orchestra and its new music director, Maestro Andreas Delfs. The music will be a mixture of American composers, classical hits, marches and dances, and music from films.
Geneseo’s own Chanler family has helped support this concert for many years, most recently through their generous creation of the Gertrude Chanler RPO Fund at the Community Foundation. Rochester Area Community Foundation will cover the concert admission so you can enjoy this special treat, followed by fireworks.
The concert will be held at Saratoga Field on the campus of the State University College at Geneseo. Parking available in Lots T and TT. In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors at a location to be announced.
Tickets will be offered in advance, but details have not been finalized. Check back at www.racf.org/50 to find out when you can reserve those free tickets.
This event is one of 24 free admission/tickets/events being sponsored by Rochester Area Community Foundation to celebrate its 50th anniversary year.
