Garden Vibes Concert: Honeysuckle
The Garden Vibes summer concert series will return to the George Eastman Museum this summer on June 12 with the band Honeysuckle.
Named Best Folk Artist at the 2018 Boston Music Awards, Honeysuckle is a progressive acoustic trio that blends traditional instrumentation of bluegrass and folk with modern effects, beautiful songwriting, and masterful, intricate arrangements. Their distinct brand of baroque, elevated Americana has earned the Berklee alumni appearances at Lollapalooza and Newport Folk Festival.
The concert is held on the museum's Vista, located on the east side of the mansion next to the Terrace Garden. Concertgoers may bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from Dinosaur B-B-Que, Effortlessly Healthy, or the Eastman Museum Cafe, and BYOB. Concerts are from 6 to 8 p.m.; gates open at 5 p.m.
Admission rates for each of the 2019 concerts: $10 general admission, $8 museum members, and free to children ages 12 and under with paid adult admission. Tickets are available only at the gate. No refunds; no rain dates.
Garden Vibes is generously supported by the Eastman Museum Council, Hyatt Regency Rochester, Bop Shop Records, Canandaigua National Bank, and Wegmans.
