Journey into the Helmer Nature Center forest at night in search of owls.

Learn about the amazing adaptations that allow owls to hunt at night and how to identify our local species by sight or sound. Meet Nascha, our red morph Eastern-Screech Owl and then join us on a walk through the woods where we will use recorded calls to draw them in. All ages are welcome, but this event is most suitable for ages 8 & up. This is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly.
