COMPASSION ISN’T CANCELLED and neither is our 2020 Mutt Strut!
As we continue to work together during this challenging time, we have decided to make our Annual Mutt Strut a VIRTUAL experience.
What is a virtual experience?
A virtual walk means that after you fundraise, you get to walk on your own time at your own pace.
Suggested walk date is Sunday, November 1...but you can walk whenever you'd like!!
Walk around the block with friends (social distancing required), in a welcoming park, in your own backyard, or on your own treadmill. While we won’t be walking side-by-side this year, our love of animals will continue to unite us!
Registration and Pledge Forms can be downloaded from our web site: www.hswaynepets.org. Please have your paid Registration Form submitted by Friday, October 16. You can mail it to the shelter with a check at 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489 or drop it off at the shelter.
A minimum donation of $50.00 will ensure your T-shirt and bandana. T-shirt design is by Will Boydell again this year and they are awesome! T-shirts and bandanas may be picked up at the Shelter from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31, when you bring in your paid pledges.
This year’s virtual theme is Super Heroes. So be creative with your person and pet costumes. Post your pictures on our Facebook Event page and be entered to win a prize (must post by November 8 to be eligible for the prize).
