One of the biggest stars in the world, Julia Roberts is an actor whose career recalls those of the stars of Hollywood’s heyday. Her empathetic portrayals, whether they be everyday people or celebrities, allow the audience a peek behind the curtain, inside the mind of another individual. Her expressiveness intimates a deep understanding, full of emotion. The Dryden Theatre celebrates Roberts with some of her career highlights throughout the month of May, including her Academy Award–winning role as Erin Brockovich.
