Live from Hochstein – Early Music Celebration
*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 11/06/2019
Lost is My Quiet: Love Songs for Voices, Guitar, and Theorbo, features Warner Iveris, theorbo and baroque guitar; Tyler Cassidy-Heacock, soprano; Joseph Finetti, baritone. The program includes songs of Barbara Strozzi and Henry Purcell as well as music for solo guitar, exemplifying the fiery and passionate love songs of the Baroque period. Though the music was written in the 17th century, these works express emotions that resonate powerfully with our contemporary experiences.
