Medieval Mysteries and Mayhem DeTOUR℠ | Beyond the Nest (Rochester)

Medieval Mysteries and Mayhem DeTOUR℠

*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 09/10/2020
Why do people in medieval art look so miserable/creepy/weird? Why are there so many images of people dying in gruesome and gory ways? What’s with the freaky creatures and cats? On this MAGsocial DeTOUR℠ we are teaming up with Anna Siebach-Larsen, Ph.D., aka Doctor of all things Medieval. She’ll be able to answer all of our burning questions about people being on fire, skeletons dancing their limbs off, spooky snakes, out of place organs, swords (there are sooo many swords), and more. Join us as we explore Judith Schaechter’s stained glass exhibition, The Path to Paradise, and wander around the museum, learning and laughing together.
