Mother's Day Hanging Basket

What’s more therapeutic than playing in the soil or smelling the scents of spring? Hanging out with mom or your favorite person, of course! Spend some time together learning how to pick out the right flowers to suit a specific location, then planting a 14” wire basket or pot. Students will not only leave class with a basket or pot, but also tips and tricks to keep their flowers happy, healthy, and flowering.

Please note: Using the drop down menu on the event page, please select if you would like to make a hanging basket or pot, as well as the type of sunlight project will be in drop down menu. Full sun is 6+ hours of direct sun, part sun is 4-6 hours, and shade is less than 4 hours of sun. Students will be able to leave their basket or pot at Jamie’s Greenhouse until so their plants can grow. Projects will be available for pickup on May 20th from 6pm-7pm or May 22nd from 10am-11am. Although not required, consider bringing lightweight gardening gloves to enhance your class experience.
This class will take place indoors at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY.
