Their straightforward and practical nature is reflected in foods that make the most of seasonal ingredients with delicious simplicity. Old fashioned basics with our updated touches - a slow cooked meal, root vegetables with herbs, apples and walnuts, cranberries and maple, the opening of a jar of summer-made strawberry rhubarb preserves, pies and custards....
