Participate in a Caregiver Stress Reduction Study at the University of Rochester School of Nursing!
Caring for a loved one with dementia can be stressful. The purpose of the study is to identify the role of stress reduction in improving relationships for individuals who care for a loved one with dementia. You are eligible if you are 50 years of age or older, sometimes feel stressed because you are caring for a family member with dementia, and sometimes feel isolated, left out, or that you lack companionship. We would ask you to do an eligibility screen, initial interview, 14 daily stress reduction sessions that last about 10 minutes using a mobile health app, and a final interview. All information you provide will be kept confidential and secure. Only HARP investigators will have access to the information you provide. You will be compensated up to $80 for your participation. Contact us by phone at 585-273-2196 or by email at HARP@urmc.rochester.edu.
