The 2018 Suffragist City Parade, celebrates our heritage and encourages people to get out and vote!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

With Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass as  icons at the forefront, Rochester claims the identity: “Suffragist City.” Anthony and Douglass were two of the most powerful voices for voting rights for all.  This parade celebrates Rochester’s heritage, encourages full participation in our democracy, and inspires us to continue the work for liberty, equality, and justice for all humanity.

If you are interested in marching, or to find out more information, go to the Parade web site!
