Winter Plein Air Oil Painting with Steve BonDurant - One Week Course

Social distancing and masks required—which will help keep you warm. The Rushville painting site has a heated cabin, bathroom, and a fire pit for warm-ups and the critique. Given the shorter time frame, instructional materials will be provided in advance, specific to winter painting, and using Steve’s technique of warm complimentary underpainting (which is particular effective for winter scenes). Also provided to registered participants are a materials list and winter painting attire recommendations. This workshop is for artists of all skill levels, studio and plein air painters alike, who are drawn to the outdoor painting experience.

(Feb. 13 and Feb. 20 – reserved as make-up days if there is no snow or it’s too windy or temperatures are prohibitive)
