Stars with Carl is a monthly show at RMSC's Strasenburgh Planetarium devoted to the 1968 Carl Zeiss Mark VI star projector. A live presenter conducts a tour of the night sky using the original planetarium projector. Best for ages 5 and older; 50 minutes. A great way for families to enjoy the colors of an upstate autumn is from the windows of a vintage electric trolley car at the New York Museum of Transportation in Rush, NY. Rides operate Sundays only, October 4, 11, 25 and are included free with admission to the museum. The 20-minute rides depart at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations needed.
