Going for Baroque is a weekly series of mini-recitals at the Memorial Art Gallery, offered each Sunday at 1:30 PM and again at 3:00 PM. It offers the opportunity for students from the Eastman School of Music to perform alongside professional musicians on the Italian Baroque organ on the second floor of the museum. The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission.

Hochstein at High Falls returns this summer! Hosted by WRUR’s Hannah Maier, this fan favorite concert series features performances by local legends and regional favorites, all for free and in the city’s High Falls District. This noontime, lunch hour summer concert series features the sounds of local musicians in the city’s High Falls District. Hochstein at High Falls concerts begin at 12:10 pm on Thursday afternoons in the outer parking lot at 4 Commercial Street, corner of Browns Race. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and lunch. Each performance will run approximately 40 minutes. Concerts take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, check Hochstein’s website or Hochstein’s Facebook page at 10:30 am the day of the concert to see if the concert is moving to the rain location at MCC’s Downtown Campus at 321 State Street. There will be signage to direct you to the indoor rain location. Hochstein at High Falls concerts are presented by the High Falls Business Association, The Hochstein School, and The Route/WRUR 88.5. Hochstein at High Falls is also made possible by a number of local organizations, including Brandtatorship, LaBella Associates, and Monroe Community College.

Co-produced with the City of Rochester, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Parcel 5 for an unforgettable evening of live music under the open sky. Flower City Pride Band will perform first with the RPO taking the stage around 8 PM.
