Each week, we offer public-guided tours of our collection and temporary exhibitions. These tours are included with museum admission and last about an hour. Explore 5,000 years of world art in MAG’s collection and temporary exhibitions. Upon arrival, please inform the Admission Desk that you wish to join the tour. Public tours are approximately 60 minutes and are included in museum admission.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) continues its 100th season with Vivaldi's beloved "The Four Seasons" featuring guest soloist Sarah Chang. While this may sound like a grown-up event, RPO classical concerts have been family affairs for a century -- and, in many cases, provided youngsters the inspiration to pursue music careers. Professor Kobrin will present a Beethoven Sonata Series at Eastman spanning the academic year, with four concerts this fall on the first of each month. Kobrin has previously performed all of Beethoven's 32 Sonatas in Washington, DC for WETA radio.
Going for Baroque is a weekly series of mini-recitals at the Memorial Art Gallery, offered each Sunday at 1:30 PM and again at 3:00 PM. It offers the opportunity for students from the Eastman School of Music to perform alongside professional musicians on the Italian Baroque organ on the second floor of the museum. The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission.
