Fairy Doors of Dansville

Come experience this self-guided walking trail of more than 30 whimsical fairy doors in the business district of historic Dansville! Many more signs of fairies can be found in the trees of Pioneer Park next to the Dansville Historical Museum. Maps to fairy door locations are online on our Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/fairydoorsofdansville ) and at the fairy door 'host' locations.

"The Fairy Doors of Dansville" are in place year round, waiting for visitors to pick up a map and go on a quest to find each of these hand-crafted little doors. You also can pick up a printed version at many of the fairy door host's venues. Most of these whimsical folkart style doors are visible through the window of their host's establishment so you will find them even when the venue is closed. You may want to venture over to "Pioneer Park" (also in the village) and look up in the trees where you will find many signs of the fairies and other wee folk! This program is free and accessible to the public. This art installation project is made possible in part with funds from the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts Aid to Localities Program.
