“How Did We Get Here?” is a collection of sculpted prints and paintings that Ithaca artist Werner Sun made over the past seven years. As an artist with a background in physics, he believes that scientific methods tend to mirror our thought patterns at large and extends this scientific approach to his artistic practice. He is first of two artists to be featured in the West End Arts Campus’ Emerging Artists project in 2025. His work will be displayed simultaneously in the Schweinfurth Art Center and Cayuga Museum of History & Art, which are located next door to each other at 203 & 205 Genesee St. in Auburn.
