Seneca Park Zoo inspires our community to connect, care for, and conserve wildlife and wild places. Situated on 15.5 acres along the Genesee River, the Zoo is a gem among Greater Rochester’s family attractions.

The Montezuma Audubon Center (MAC), located in Savannah, NY, is a state-owned facility operated through a cooperative agreement between the New York State DEC and the National Audubon Society. The MAC houses a large exhibit area, classroom, nature store, office area, auditorium, and a meeting room. Its 198 acres features five different types of habitat, two restored freshwater marshes, a one-mile hiking trail, and an all-access observation platform.

The Riedman Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park is open year-round, offering a unique opportunity to observe brown and rainbow trout species at different stages of development. A popular destination for families, the hatchery provides an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages. Knowledgeable staff are on duty Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and most weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., ready to share insights about the fish and hatchery operations. Plus, visitors can even feed the fish, making for a fun and interactive experience!
