Action for a Better Community (ABC) is a Community Action Agency that promotes and provides opportunities for low-income individuals and families to become self-sufficient. Last year, ABC helped nearly 17,000 individuals and 3,000 families through Head Start preschools, adult education and job skills training, family functioning skills training, food assistance, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, and many other programs.
