Dip-Dye Wall Hanging

Join us to make your own custom wall hanging achieved in two parts: weaving and dyeing!

Join us to make your own custom wall hanging achieved in two parts: weaving and dyeing! Each participant will weave 3-5 inches of tapestry with texture, fringe, geometry, and color-blocking. The remaining 90 minutes will be left to customize 10-12 inches of your fringe by dipping it into a dye vat of either indigo, mustard yellow, or black dye. Everyone will leave with their own custom wall hanging ready to hang!
About the teacher:
Courtney Craig is a surface designer who enjoys the studio environment and creating custom textiles for interior spaces. Elements of vintage, contemporary, and traditional design are her favorites to explore. Courtney is currently living in Rochester and being inspired every day from the local artisan community.
