It has been written that “A human mind is a wandering mind, and a wandering mind is an unhappy mind”. According to the Harvard Gazette in Nov. 2010, about 47% of waking hours are spent thinking about what isn’t going on.
This class will introduce practical tools for dealing with stress and anxiety, helping to harness the power of attention, and cultivating the means for regularly experiencing stillness and inner peace – all which lead to greater confidence, increased happiness and more meaningful relationships.

About the teachers:
Chrisanne Mansfield and George Casden have been with the Rochester School of Philosophy for over 16 years. They are excited to share these valuable insights through informal and light-hearted discussions.
