Pancreatic Cancer Association of Western New YorkPancreatic Cancer Association of Western New York (PCAWNY) is an organization of volunteers in Rochester NY committed to creating awareness, raising funds for research, and advocating for the individuals and families affected by pancreatic cancer. By bringing more awareness to pancreatic cancer we help people understand the disease's symptoms so that they are better informed when talking to their medical provider and better prepared to manage their health needs.  We support local research efforts by raising funding that helps to advance pancreatic cancer research that will lead to the identification of early detection measures and treatment, which will improve quality of life.  PCAWNY’s signature fundraiser is its annual Step It Up! Cure Pancreatic Cancer Indoor 5K & Family Fun Day held every November.
