A two-bed hospice/comfort care home for those in the last weeks of life. Our next fundraising event is an intergenerational dance for families.
Shepherd Home is a two bed comfort care home providing care to the terminally ill in their last weeks of life. All care is provided at no cost to patients or their families so we rely on fundraising events and support from the community. On June 5, 2011, we will be holding an intergenerational dance. Get Up and Dance! will be held at the Penfield Country Club from 2-5 p.m. and will be an opportunity to experience dancing and music from the Lindy Hop to Sock Hop to Hip Hop. We are especially interested in having grandparents or senior citizens attend with their grandchild or other special young person.
