90 minute classes start at 10:30AM and 1:00PM on both Saturday and Sunday .
Discover how easy it is to balance on top of the water. Our paddleboarding starter course is an excellent opportunity to learn the basic strokes and skills you'll need for maneuvering a paddleboard, allowing you to explore scenic lakes, coves and inlets.
Our course begins with a brief introduction and safety talk from our friendly paddling instructors, who will share their accumulated wisdom from years of paddleboarding. They'll outfit you with a personal flotation device (PFD), paddleboard and paddling equipment, giving you insight on the best ways to set up your board. You'll receive instruction on a variety of paddling strokes and have the opportunity to practice each stroke by the shore.
After you feel comfortable on the water, you'll set out in a guided, interpretive tour with your group. You'll experience the freedom of skimming across the water, learning about the ecosystem and history of the area.
All necessary paddleboarding equipment is provided.
