Summer Camp at Railroad Junction is all about fun and learning. We have weekly kid-friendly themes that change yearly, so even our returning children are never bored. The activities offered can be relaxing, exciting, stimulating or just plain fun, and the children choose which ones they prefer. We offer "enrichment" programs that include karate, scuba, cheerleading and swimming, optional add-ons parents can pick-and-choose from to meet their family needs and budget.
We even make the educational components great fun, with unique themes that allow children to be children and everyone to laugh and learn together. All activities are planned and directed to be age appropriate, so children from 5 to 13 can all feel they're part of the fun.
Last but not least, we have our own large in-ground swimming pool. Our certified guards and swimming instructors let children splash and swim in the sun three times a day, and lessons are available for those wanting to learn.
Week 8 campers can choose from 1 of three themed camps:
Track and Field Camp-Campers can try hurdles, sprints, long jumps and use variations of shot put and discus throws. This is in conjunction with the start of the 2016 Summer Olympics. Let the games begin!
Dance Camp- So many dance styles from which to choose! Campers explore swing, square dance, hip hop and more! Campers will have a dance off and have an opportunity to show off their own style.
Spy Kids Camp-Top secret briefings and activities will put spy skills and street smarts to the test. Develop a disguise for cover, make and break codes, discover escape and evasion techniques, create and use spy gadgets, uncover the science behind spying—all of this and more awaits young recruits!
