Spotlight Sr Summer Performing Arts Camp
Performing "Shrek the Musical"
August 1-12
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Learn to sing, act and dance while working on a full length production to be performed for friends and family at the end of the program. We'll work on technique, skills, tips and tricks that you can use in the upcoming performance and in other shows. On stage we'll work on perfecting those skills. We welcome all skill levels. Expect to be challenged and prepare to have fun!
Description:
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand...and his name is Shrek.
Auditions:
Auditions for placement within the cast take place the first day/night of camp. Don't worry, we'll teach you everything you need to know when you get there.

Spotlight Theatre Arts is located at 3 Railroad Street in Fairport (off of Main Street).
St. John of Rochester is located at 8 Wickford Way in Fairport, at the corner of Route 31 and Ayrault Rd. (When arriving at St. John of Rochester, take the parking lot to the far back and bring your child to the gym door.)
