The Rochester International Film Festival is one of the longest running short film festivals in the world! Voted “Best Local Film Festival,” by readers of CITY magazine time and again, our fest is produced and presented by Movies On a Shoestring, Inc. See short films of ALL genres from filmmakers worldwide! Are you a fan of narrative film? Documentaries? Animation? Foreign language? Suspense? Whatever it is you love most about short film, we’ve got it! all!

Australia 29 min (Drama) Set in 1965, a Sicilian widow fights for her life and livelihood when Calabrian mafia men try to take control of her husband’s produce business.

Argentina 15 min (Sci Fi/Animation) Anacronte and the Sorcerers of Evil (devoid of emotion and fulfilling their own destiny) test humanity in a struggle that casts their targets as winners and losers.

Spain 15 min (Drama) A sports bag is abandoned on Christmas Day. Its contents undertake a journey of survival as the bag is handed off by nocturnal beings who serve as unsuspecting guardian angels.
