9th Annual Summer Sunday

Music and picnic on Museum grounds, picnic basket contest, kid's games and crafts, plein-air artists at work, Cake Walk ($), free self-guided tours 1:30-4:00

Summer Sunday at the Museum 1:30-4:00. Bring a picnic lunch and blanket and enjoy the Museum grounds while listening to the Wayne County Community Band from 1:30-3:30. Enter a picnic basket contest and win a prize (details below). Play lawn games from the past. Kids crats and games. Watch plein-air artists at work. Win a homemade cake at the Cake Walk ($). All Museum buildings will be open for free self-guided tours. E-mail jslynd@aol.com to register a picnic basket for the contest. Include name, address, phone and e-mail along with theme for the basket: Romance in the Air - Sports are My Game - Enchanted Garden - Around the World. Registrations must be received no later than July 8, 2023.
