Adventuring with Heroes (Ages 7-9)

Looking for something for your kids to do during February Break? Come to Writers & Books for a week long class on heroes! Dive in to the many adventures they have--and create your own!

Do you love to read the action-packed exploits of super and mythical heroes? Whether it’s Zeus or Athena, Thor or Loki, Batman or Wonder Woman, we will adventure into their stories. You will write and/or draw your own hero story. We’ll practice readers’ theatre hero skits and work on projects together including a hero scene diorama. On the final day we’ll have a presentation for families. From the Greek gods, to Viking mythology, to modern day superheroes, we will explore what it takes to be a hero!
