Reverend Mother is a curious mix of J-Lo and Mrs. Doubtfire in an authentic 1950s nun's habit! A dubious "authority on everything," she'll mumble and tumble over colloquial expressions and worldly quips. It's clear to all: she doesn't know what she's talking about! Rochester's own Reverend Mother, aka Phyllis Contestable, has irreverently humiliated retiring corporate executives, bridal couples, class reunions, religious leaders, government officials, and noted celebrities in the media and entertainment (such as Michael Keaton) as well as at numerous senior events.
