An annual art & music festival with 22 musical performances, 150 works of art, and a children's art workshop in downtown Rochester in April.
ArtAwake is an annual one-day festival of creativity that gives life to a vacant urban space in Rochester, NY. It is organized by a group of student leaders at the University of Rochester and is a collaboration of over 20 sponsors from around the community. ArtAwake regularly attracts 1,500-2,000 attendees and features ~200 pieces of art by local artists, performances by ~20 local music/dance/etc. groups, a selection of local foods, and a variety of interactive and technological exhibitions.
