Meet Jeff Minerd, author of The Sailweaver’s Son. Combining traditional fantasy with a dash of steampunk, Jeff transports readers to a unique world, Etherium, where mountains rise like islands above a sea of clouds and adventurers travel the sky in sail-driven airships. Jeff Minerd has published short fiction in literary journals such as The North American Review, and one of his short stories won the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story contest judged by novelist and NPR book reviewer Alan Cheuse. He has worked as a science and medical writer for many publications. The Sailweaver's Son, a fantasy adventure geared toward readers age 12 to 16, is the first book in Jeff’s Sky Riders of Etherium fantasy series. The book sells for $15.00, cash and checks accepted.
