In the Beginning is the prequel film to the Babylon 5 science fiction television series, which aired for 5 seasons starting in 1993. The movie recounts the events leading up to the harrowing Earth-Minbari war, and its stunning conclusion with the Battle of the Line, as told to two children by Londo Mollari, the ageing Emperor of the Centari Republic. Engaging storytelling, multi-dimensional character development and world-building, and thrilling space battles will captivate seasoned fans and new devotees alike. Our bar will be serving Jovian Sunspot cocktails (as well as non-alcoholic Shirley Temples for our Minbari friends!) Cosplay is encouraged, and a discussion will follow the screening.
