Blacksmithing Sampler: Tree Ornament

Arc + Flame Blacksmithing Samplers are an excellent way to get a taste of forging. Experienced instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on instruction at the forge to enhance your learning experience. These classes are designed as teasers to let you experience what it's like to work hot steel. Focus will be on the fundamentals of hammer control to get the steel to respond the way you want it to.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
Joe Schmitz has been studying blacksmithing for over five years and specializes in ornamental blacksmithing and bladesmithing. Joe graduated from the Arc + Flame and MCC Welding and Fabrication Program at the beginning of 2019 and has been working professionally in the welding industry since. Outside of welding and blacksmithing, Joe is an avid tabletop-games player, including Magic The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons, where he participates in local groups and tournaments.
