Rochester’s prized vocal ensemble First Inversion joins us for "To the Hands,” a masterpiece for chorus and small chamber ensemble by Caroline Shaw, the youngest ever recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Music; this is a rare work of genius that richly explores musical language of the past and present, the complexities of immigration, and words of both the Bible and the Statue of Liberty.
