Celebrating Fall and Scarecrows

Heritage Square Museum, 7147 Ontario Center Road, Ontario, NY, will be Celebrating Fall with the Scarecrows on Saturday, September 16 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The day will be filled with the annual bake sale, chili café, music, children’s activities, raffles, the judging of the scarecrows, and more.
View the creativity of members of the community who have made scarecrows for this event and cast your ballot for the winner of the People’s Choice Award. Tours of the museum will also be available ($).
Just in time for the school year and holiday season, local authors Mary Jane and Herm Auch, Sally Valentine, Karen Shughart, and Susan Gatley will be available between 1:00 and 3:00 PM to sign their books. These are children’s books and local history books.
Between 1:30 and 3:30 PM, fiddlers Jack Metzger and Charlie Rickard will be playing for your musical enjoyment.
