More about Diwali: Diwali, pronounced duh-vaa-lee, is the Hindu festival of lights. The festival symbolizes the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, also known as light over darkness or good over evil. Diwali is celebrated between mid-September and mid-November and lasts 5-6 days.
