Experience the magic of fairy house creativity- A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon and have fun with your family. This event is free. Each builder will be provided a base for their house and fairy house supplies to choose from. Have fun and gather and bring your own or join us at the optional Genesee Valley Park gathering times 2:00-2:45 pm. Ideal fairy house materials include items found in nature. Sticks, bark, dry grasses, pebbles, shells, feathers, seaweed, pine cones and nuts are just some of the natural materials that can be used. Ranging from simple to intricate ‘Fairy Mansions’, these whimsical habitats are built by children, families, gardeners and nature lovers reflecting their creativity, joy and pride. Houses can be entered into the 3rd Annual Fairy Houses Tourat the Corn Hill Arts Festival (CHAF).
