Nancy Steinkamp
What do Mark Twain, Virginia Woolf, C.S. Lewis, and Anais Nin have in common? They are all published authors who kept a journal, the container that holds a writer’s fullest expression. In this class, we will experience a variety of writing techniques that adapt to the changing landscape of our lives and help us to identify subjects to explore, and develop a writing habit. By learning to alter our perspectives, connect with the deeper meaning of our experiences, and respond to natural prompts in life, we befriend the writing process, develop our unique voices, and increase our self-understanding. New and seasoned journal keepers will be invigorated to start or continue their writing journey.
