Flower Fest is a vibrant new Rochester festival celebrating the 50th anniversary of the City’s iconic Flower City Mark, a symbol that has represented creativity, community pride, and Rochester’s identity for half a century. Taking place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. in the High Falls District, the event brings together local artists, makers, musicians, businesses, and community members for an evening dedicated to one of Rochester’s most recognizable symbols.

As part of a yearlong celebration honoring 50 years of the Flower City Mark, Flower Fest will feature live music performances, local vendors, food trucks, art, film screenings, and family-friendly experiences throughout the evening. Guests can shop handmade goods, gifts, flowers, books, jewelry, and artwork from Rochester-area makers and businesses while enjoying live entertainment from local music acts Flying Object and Buddhahood.

Festivalgoers can also experience a special documentary film exploring the origin, evolution, and cultural impact of the Flower City Mark. Through archival footage, interviews, and community stories, the documentary highlights how the simple design became a lasting symbol of pride, identity, and belonging in Rochester.

The evening concludes with a spectacular City Mark drone light show over High Falls from 9:45 to 10 p.m. The choreographed aerial display will illuminate the sky with colorful animations and a one-of-a-kind visual experience celebrating 50 years of Rochester’s iconic City Mark. Prime public viewing locations include the Pont de Rennes Bridge, Austin Steward Plaza, Sister Cities Pedestrian Bridge, and Andrews Street Bridge.
